Create digital copies of your cherished family history documents, photographs, letters, and news clippings.  These digital files can either put them into a entertaining slideshow on digital versatile disc (DVD) to present your research to other people; or, simply saved in the appropriate file format on DVD or Compact Disk (CD-R/RW) as archived copies you can output to a printer or view on a computer screen.  All information and material we obtain from you to accomplish your project is returned to you after what you asked me to do is accomplished.

Capabilities

We use high-quality professional scanning devices and software to scan and store important documents, photographs, and other illustrations onto DVD or Compact Disk (CD-R/RW) for archival and other document/image management requirements.  Adobe Photoshop 7.0 and a few other software packages provides the ability to fix image flaws such as redeye, fix damage caused by wear and tear, and the ability to create slide shows and albums.  I value quality over quantity and will work with you to give you the results you are looking for.  The labor intensity of the project you seek me to complete determines the fee charged.

Capability 1

Scan color or black and white documents, photographs, slides with a 48-bit depth scanner having an optical resolution of 3200 dpi, hardware resolution of 3200 x 6400 dpi, and a interpolated resolution of 9600 x 9600 dpi.  8.5" x 11.7" is the maximum document or photo size that can be scanned.   The scanned images are saved in any of one of the popular graphic file types (BMP, EPS, JPEG/JPG, PDF, TIFF...) you desire on either a DVD or CD. 

Capability 2

Digital 3CCD 1.7Mega Pixels camera on a copy stand is used to copy paper and photograph items larger than 8.5"x11.7" or small 3 dimensional objects.  The digital images are saved in any of one of the popular graphic file types (BMP, EPS, JPEG/JPG, PDF, TIFF...) you desire on either a DVD or CD.

Digital retouching to fix slight discoloration, cracks, tears and scratches
